The eldest brother Harry Alfred Hopkins enlisted in the Territorials on the outbreak of the war; his brotherThomas Nelson enlisted in the Worcs Reg and was later transferred to the MGC; his brother Cyril enlisted in the 306th Brig. South Midlands Brig RFA; Harold Wilmot enlisted in the 3/2nd Midlands Brig RFA and the youngest brother Jack enlisted in 1916. All of the brothers survived the war. Two sisters: Annie and Elizabeth.
