Death

• Wounded On the morning of November 15th at about 9.45 a.m. this soldier was with his Battalion in billets at "C" Camp, Wieltje Farm, when he was wounded in the left shoulder and chest by a bullet from a Lewis gun. The gun was being operated by another soldier against enemy aircraft when the tripod slipped from its position in a "V" shaped crack in a 6 inch fence post.
