Death
- He was on duty as a signaller at the headquarters of the 10th Battery in Bedford-Wood. At about 5 p.m., June 13th, 1916, he delivered a message to the Officer commanding the Battery, and while returning to the telephone dug-out, he was hit in the thigh by a splinter of an enemy shell.
