Death
- He was blown out of a trench in front of Hill 60, Zillebeke, at 6.30 p.m. on April 26th, 1916, and landed on the outer edge of the parapet with a broken leg. While he was attempting to crawl back into the trench, his lower jaw was shot away by a shell splinter.
