Lijssenthoek recognised by UNESCO

A total of 27 cemeteries and monuments lying around and near the WW I frontline in Flanders Fields are on this World Heritage List. The recognition of these sites creates a strong image worldwide and underlines the global importance of this heritage in the region. In addition, 112 WW I sites in Wallinia and France were also recognised.
